3D-printed components with thin walls often leak or absorb water over time. Our sealing with dichtol provides an effective seal against water and other liquids to ensure longevity and functionality.
UV radiation shortens the service life of 3D-printed components, makes materials brittle, causes colors to fade and leads to yellowing. Our sealing with dichtol protects against UV exposure and extends the service life of components in outdoor applications.
Gas-tightness of 3D-printed components is often difficult to achieve due to residual porosity and the printing parameters. Our sealing with dichtol reliably closes all pores and ensures complete gas-tightness.
With a chemically resistant sealant, the durability and resistance of 3D-printed components can be easily and effectively increased, significantly expanding their range of applications.
No problem! Our expert Daniel Flachsenberg will be happy to help you find the perfect solution for your requirements.
Sealing with dichtol is suitable for all common printing processes such as FDM, SLS, SLA and MJF. Plastics, metals and ceramics can be sealed as printing materials.
The sealants can be applied by dipping, spraying or brushing. The most suitable method depends on the size and number of components to be sealed.
We have demonstrated drinking water conformity for dichtol AM #2567, which means that no components dissolve out of the sealant when it comes into contact with drinking water. We do not currently have food conformity for any dichtol, as this must always be tested for the entire component. This must therefore be determined separately by the customer for each application.
