Making 3D printing waterproof - Effective solutions for sealing 3D-printed components

Sealing 3D-printed components with dichtol sealant is quick, effective and easy. Thanks to the capillary effect, the sealant penetrates deep into the component and hardens there. This reliably seals pores and fine leaks, making the component watertight and gas-tight. Thanks to our wide range of products, not only 3D-printed components can be sealed against water, but also against many other liquids.

How is the product used?

Step 1:
Fill dichtol into sealing container

Step 2:
Place component in dichtol

Step 3:
Set the component aside to dry

Step 4:
Fully cured after 24 hours

dichtol AM #2567

  • For fine pores (smaller than 0.1 mm)
  • Contains organic solvents
  • High temperature resistance (300°C)
  • Surface dry after 6 minutes

dichtol AM Makro #2569

  • For larger pores (0.1 – 0.5 mm)
  • Contains organic solvents
  • High temperature resistance (300°C)
  • Surface dry after 6 minutes

dichtol AM Hydro #2589

  • For fine pores (less than 0.2 mm)
  • Water-based, VOC-free
  • Good solvent resistance
  • Surface dry after 60 minutes
