With CBR 2109, our high-quality epoxy-based tin substitute, damaged rims could be repaired effectively. The excellent adhesion and strength of the product ensured a seamless and long-lasting repair. Preparation:
The damaged area on the rim is thoroughly cleaned and degreased to ensure optimum adhesion of the repair material.
Mixture:
CBR 2109 is mixed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The mixture consists of two components that must be combined in a specific ratio.
Application:
The mixed material is applied to the damaged area using a spatula. Thanks to its medium-viscosity consistency, CBR 2109 is easy to spread and shape.
Curing:
The material cures quickly and forms a firm, stable surface. The fast curing allows the rim to be processed quickly.
Post-processing:
After curing, the repaired area is sanded and polished to achieve a smooth surface that blends seamlessly with the rest of the rim.
