Does our dichtol AM Hydro sealer deliver what it promises? Filteko puts it to the test!

A familiar problem for anyone involved in additive manufacturing: thin-walled 3D prints, especially in vase mode, are often not 100% sealed. But how well can a 3D component really be sealed? Filteko asked itself this question and tested our dichtol AM Hydro sealer in use!

In this test, three sophisticated FDM objects were printed in vase mode, each with a very thin wall thickness of just 0.2 mm. The perfect prerequisite for testing the limits of conventional impermeability.

The result is impressive:
– Before treatment: clear leaks in all objects
– After using dichtol AM Hydro: no loss of liquid – even after 7 days of endurance testing
– An additional stress test with an artificial fracture: also successfully sealed here

This test is a perfect example of what our product stands for:
