For more biodiversity – we’re on board!

Intact ecosystems are not a luxury. They are the foundation of our lives – and our economy. As a company that has been developing polymer systems for industrial applications for over 100 years, we are aware of our responsibility towards the environment, future generations and society.
That is why Diamant Polymer GmbH is a proud member of the first IHK Biodiversity Alliance in North Rhine-Westphalia, which is being established in the Middle Lower Rhine district.

Together with other companies, we are committed to environmentally responsible corporate management. The core tasks of our business activities – protecting, securing and preserving – also shape our environmental philosophy, which is to continuously optimise our processes and products with a view to sustainability, resource conservation and environmental compatibility.
Our goal: not only to preserve biodiversity, but to actively promote it – through concrete measures, innovation and knowledge sharing.

What we are already doing:

Resource-efficient production processes with ISO 14001:2015 environmental management certification
Reduction of emissions and waste

What we plan to do:

Use recovered and renewable raw materials
Promote biodiversity along our supply chain
Learn from the best practices of other companies

We are convinced that protecting biodiversity is just as important as climate protection – and key to sustainable economic growth. That is why we look forward to exchanging ideas, collaborating and gaining new inspiration to further strengthen our contribution.
