DIAMANT – globally available with strong local partners

DIAMANT has been an internationally renowned producer of innovative polymer systems for over 135 years. From our headquarters in Mönchengladbach, we carry out innovative product development, manufacture our products and provide support with technical know-how. We are supported by a worldwide sales network of over 40 foreign representatives to distribute our “Made in Germany” products in the industrial centers of the world. Our trading partners play a central role in this, because they are our figurehead, promoter and at the same time the reliable and competent contact and problem solver for our customers on site.

We would like to briefly introduce two of them:

Diamant Com. de Metaloplásticos Ltda – São Paulo Brazil

The company has been operating in South America since the end of the 1970s and last November Arnaldo Godoy came on board as Business Development Manager to support the team in terms of marketing and sales and to help it expand. We are looking forward to a very promising future, as Brazil is the largest economy in Latin America and the fifth largest country in the world with over 212 million inhabitants and rapidly growing sectors such as the textile, pharmaceutical, automotive, steel and chemical industries.

The USA is another important sales market for us.

Here, too, an important change took place in our sales network at the beginning of 2021. Our long-standing partner Larry Grimmenstein from Diamant Coating Systems Ltd. has retired for reasons of age and handed over the company. The company now bears a new name, DIAMANT Polymers Inc. and with its new owner Robert McKee, a widely networked and sales-experienced businessman is in charge of the company’s fortunes. The company is also in a prime geographical location, in Cincinnati Ohio, the industrial powerhouse of the USA. Many of the major manufacturers and suppliers from the automotive, mechanical engineering and foundry industries are based here. A large pool of potential to be tapped.
