Additive manufacturing opens up entirely new possibilities for the development of innovative products.
With the RoviMo®, Ronovatec AG has developed the first fully electric, autonomous machine carrier that maintains football pitches in accordance with UEFA and FIFA guidelines.
However, in additive manufacturing in particular, innovation does not end with the printing process. This is because, due to the nature of the materials used, fine micropores or porosity often form at this stage. If these are not treated, moisture and dirt can penetrate the component, particularly in the case of components such as the RoviMo® that are permanently exposed to the elements.
Rapid Manufacturing AG, which supplied Ronovatec AG with the additively manufactured components, has therefore opted for post-treatment with dichtol. For durable, waterproof and reliably protected components
The RoviMo® is a successful example of how 3D printing and the right post-processing can work hand in hand.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Rapid Manufacturing AG for the successful collaboration and for their trust in our sealer.
