Interview in VDI: Managing Director Carsten Kunde on fast bridge renovations thanks to MM1018

Around 8000 motorway bridges need to be renovated in Germany. Half of them in the next 10 years. Particularly in western Germany, where many bridges were built in the 1960s and 1970s, there are clear signs of ageing. However, modernisation is being slowed down by the high shortage of skilled workers, high raw material prices and increased construction costs. Technologies that make bridge modernisation more efficient are therefore helpful.
