iron cement - Heat-resistant 1-component special cement for reliable protection up to 1,600 °C

iron cement - Heat-resistant 1C cement for steel casting molds, continuous casting plants and furnaces

iron cement from DIAMANT Polymer is a refractory 1-component cement that can withstand temperatures of up to 1,600°C . It is used for wear protection on steel casting molds, continuous casting systems and for sealing firing systems. Iron Cement is also ideal as a joint filler for firebricks in ovens and open fireplaces to extend their service life and ensure a reliable seal.

Cross-industry advantages:
Easy application (1K), time and cost savings, physiologically harmless

How does iron cement work?

The application of Iron Cement is extremely simple and efficient:

The ready-to-use 1-component special cement is applied with a spatula to a layer thickness of 2 to 3 millimeters before each new sprue. The result: minimum effort for maximum protection.

What characterizes iron cement?

With application temperatures of up to 1,600°C, iron cement can withstand even extreme thermal loads and, for example, reliably protects steel molds against hot, abrasive cast steel after curing. The physiologically harmless cement thus forms the reliable basis for longer service lives of cast steel molds and furnaces.
