An extraordinary project successfully realised

Two Youtubers, Ivan Miranda and Jón Schone, have worked together on a special project.
Their aim was to convert a treadmill into a 3D printer and use it to print a kayak. The whole thing was presented at Maker Faire Prague 2025.

The result is impressive and the print worked better than either of them expected. Despite a few hurdles, both are certain that a treadmill works well as the basis for a 3D printer! They presented and tested their kayak together at Maker Faire Prague a few weeks ago.

As a kayak like this should be waterproof, it was sealed with our product dichtol AM UV Protection. This not only protects it from water, but also from UV radiation and other external environmental influences!
Watch the video to find out what challenges they had to overcome and what the end result looks like.
