The SP 170 peristaltic pump—an in-house development by SKC—was designed to continuously apply large quantities of coating into a joint through a single filling port. Unlike when using cartridges, there is no need to reposition the press multiple times. The low-viscosity sliding and separation joint coatings SKC 90 and SKC 58 can be applied. With minor restrictions, the sliding coatings SKC 62, SKC 400 ELF, and the separation joint coating SKC 57 can also be applied.
