moglice FL/P is a medium-viscosity 2-component bonded coating. It is used for the production of guides, hydrostatic guides, plain bearings and sliding surfaces. The dimensionally accurate molding technology enables complex shapes and structures to be produced without mechanical processing and with precision in the µm range. In modern production technology, process times and costs can be reduced many times over. The material can be removed from the mating surface by using a micro-thin layer of diamond release agent. The result is an exact copy of the workpiece surface.
Typical applications
Sliding surfaces and guides in mechanical engineering
Slideways for punching slides with permanent lubrication
Sliding surfaces for air bearings on glass grinding machines
Slideways for transport systems for electronic elements such as waivers, displays or photovoltaics
Guideways for positioning at high speeds
Sliding surfaces in pressure cylinders
Sliding surfaces in lubrication-free actuators and coupling elements
Repairs and maintenance of sliding surfaces

Storage / Shelf life
Store in the original, unopened container in a dry, cool and frost-free place (+5°C to +20°C). Shelf life 18 months. Protect from direct sunlight. Higher temperatures reduce the shelf life.
Processing the adhesion surface
The guide surface to be coated is roughened to improve adhesion. The roughening depth should be 0.5 mm (Rt-500 µm). The roughening can be produced using a cutter head with a high feed rate on a milling machine.
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease and oil. For cleaning dirty surfaces, we recommend DIAMANT Cleaner #1417 or DIAMANT Cleaning Spray #1534.
Surfaces to which DWH should not adhere should be coated with Release Agent #1354 or Release Spray #1355.
Mixing procedure
To mix moglice FL/P, pour component B completely into the container of component A. Mix intensively using a drill and the DIAMANT mixing propeller (Prod. No. #0789) (max. 250 rpm for approx. 2 minutes). Remove any material adhering to the walls of the container with a spatula and add to the mixture. Mix thoroughly again.
Deaerate
moglice FL/P should be poured into a clean container in a long, thin, uninterrupted stream.
Application description
Transfer moglice FL/P into a 1K empty cartridge and inject it through an inlet channel into the prepared, sealed cavity. To avoid the influence of air, fill the cavity from the deepest point.
Alternatively, the moglice FL/P can be poured onto a chamfered surface. Use a spatula to support the even flow. After curing, finish the surface.
