SKC 63

SKC 63 is a two-component, trowel-applicable epoxy-based sliding coating designed for the fabrication, coating, and repair of machine guides and sliding surfaces. The material combines the excellent sliding properties of the standard SKC 60 with processing optimizations for trowel application.

In contrast to low-viscosity systems for injection technology (e.g., SKC 62), SKC 63 is specifically used where controlled, manual application is required—such as for smaller components, localized repairs, or complex geometries.

Typical applications include:

Coating of machine guides in machine tool manufacturing
Repair and finishing of sliding surfaces
Applications with limited access or irregular geometries
Individual parts and small production runs
Thanks to the general properties of SKC sliding coatings, SKC 63 also offers:
